My career journey has been shaped by my passion for creativity, technology, and building something of my own. I am the founder of The Halsey Studios (THS), an independent digital entertainment platform that I began developing in 2023. Building THS has given me the opportunity to explore website development, digital media, platform architecture, and the technical challenges involved in creating an online entertainment experience. Using Wix and Velo, I have been learning how to develop features such as member profiles, company profiles, film submissions, advertising systems, and interactive website experiences. Much of my development journey has involved learning through experimentation, researching solutions, and improving the platform step by step. I have developed an interest in how the technical side of a website works behind the scenes, particularly databases, automation, user permissions, and security. Alongside my work on THS, I work as a self-checkout colleague at Sainsbury's. This role has given me experience working in a busy retail environment, assisting customers, following procedures, and working as part of a team. My long-term ambition is to continue developing The Halsey Studios into an established entertainment platform. I want to build something that reflects my ideas, supports creative talent, and provides an engaging experience for its members. For me, the journey is about continuing to learn, improving my skills, and turning a long-term vision into something real.
